The
music recorded here is strongly tied to the southern mountain region of the
United States, yet it is peppered with music from other roots. There is a union song by Joe Hill and
other tunes that have a western flavor.
There is even a newer song by Utah Phillips, but it sounds old
to me. Enjoy. H. Roy Roland on guitar, fiddle and
accordion. Hershel Olmsted on banjos and guitar Tony Wright on fiddle, guitar, and

Great
old fiddle and banjo music with a real back-porch feel. You can almost hear the rocking chair
keeping time to the music being put out by these two fine old-time
musicians. Some of these tracks have been used in TV documentaries because
they so nicely evoke a bygone era. Joe Huff fiddle
